Strengths

The hotel is known here in the Philippines and as well in the other country. Being known in the other country, it gets high respect from people especially with their guests.

The hotel has a beautiful view of Mt. Taal and its lake. Days Hotel is facing the enormous view of Taal Volcano that’s why every time you gaze out the balcony; your eyes will be pleased with the view. This is one of its strength since almost all guests look for a place where to unwind and relax.

The hotel staffs are very hospitable. The employee of Days Hotel is ready to answer all your questions. The hotel staffs are very accommodating and they are also approachable to all our requests and demands.

Weaknesses

Most of the employees of the hotel are OJT students. There are more OJT students rather than the regular employee. I think it is better if most of the employees are professionals who have more experience rather than the OJT students. Employees who have more experience are more flexible to face different situation in the tourism industry.

Opportunities

Days Hotel – Tagaytay has a sister hotel in the Philippines as well as abroad. They have more opportunity to be known and to compete to competition of the industry.

Threats

There is a stiff competition to other hotel. Days Hotel is only a first class (3-star) hotel, deluxe hotels are much ahead of them.

Circle island resort

Strength

The resort is very accessible. It is located along Cavite boundary and near the Daang-hari going to Manila making it is easy to escape the buzzing sound of Manila.

The staffs were very hospitable. They execute warmth welcome to all of us. They also shared some time chatting with us.

It offers a very cheap entrance fee. The fee for the entrance is very cheap and affordable. It is a resort where you can enjoy the leisure with an affordable amount.

The site is located to a very suitable location. The area is free from noise and it is a place that outweighs the burden Manila gives.

Weaknesses

The parking lot of the resort is not big. The parking space was not enough for our bus to parked.

Lack of swimming gadgets. I think it is appropriate if they will have their swimming gadgets (such as life jackets). There is no life guard ready to save the guests.

The resort has less recreational facilities. We expect that we can enjoy different recreational activities but unfortunately they lack of it. We are looking forward to have more recreational facilities so that every guest can enjoy every corner of the resort.

Opportunity

The resort has plans to build new establishments for the betterment of their service.

Threats

Because it is located near Manila, people didn’t notice that there is a resort established in that area. They’ve got to advertise their resort more often than that of what they exercise.

There is a resort that is more beautiful than the Circle Island Resort. Resorts such as Island Cove and Volets are better.
